Whitetail Flats Campground is located in Sully Creek State Park, just a short drive from Medora and the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The campground offers access to Sully Creek, a fabulous spot for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. It’s an excellent place to spend the weekend hiking on the Maan Daah Hey Trail, with lots of paths for cycling and horseback riding.
6. Red Trail Campground
This wonderful campground is a family-owned site providing campers with the option of overnight stays and extended vacations. It’s a fantastic spot to book your camp experience, with sites open between mid-May until the end of September every year. The Red Trail Campground is well known for its friendly staff and professional maintenance of the grounds. It’s a family-friendly place that also welcomes pets. Nearby attractions include golf, museums, and lots of trails for hiking.
